Burglar Turns Off Power To Cameras At Businesses Before Entering

A Seffner burglar found a way to break into businesses without getting captured on surveillance video.

SEFFNER, FL -- A Seffner burglar found a way to break into businesses without getting captured on surveillance video. He simply flipped the electric breakers for the businesses before he entered, disabling the surveillance cameras.

Using this method, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said a burglar managed to break into five businesses along U.S. 92 in Seffner during the early-morning hours on Tuesday and escape without detection.

On Feb. 5 between 3:45 and 4:10 a.m., the burglar smashed the front glass doors and entered Martha's Family Restaurant, Martha's Ice Cream, Salon J, TK's Custom Cuts and Secret Place Nail Salon, making off with various items. The sheriff's office doesn't have a list of stolen items at this time.
