CNN to Feature Tampa Fugitive

"The Hunt" with John Walsh will put a spotlight on a DUI manslaughter case out of Hillsborough County.

The U.S. Marshals Service is getting a little help from CNN in tracking down a fugitive from the Tampa area wanted on a host of charges, including DUI manslaughter.

When “The Hunt” airs this Sunday, Aug. 3, host John Walsh plans to enlist the country’s help in locating Christopher Ponce, 24, according to an email to media from the U.S. Marshals Service.

Ponce was arrested on July 19, 2012, following an accident on Interstate 275. His vehicle, law enforcement said, hit another, killing its driver and injuring two others. Ponce was arrested for DUI, but later had DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, DUI with serious bodily injury and reckless driving charges added to the tally, the email said.
