“Dee Maret is a dynamic leader and an expert in the commercial real estate industry who brings positive energy and commitment to all of his clients and associates, and we are proud of his accomplishments,” said Clark Toole, president of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, Florida and Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Florida. “Being appointed to the CBC National Advisory Board is clear indication of the valuable resource that he is.”

While not a decision-making body, the purpose of the Advisory Board is to provide a central forum for the exchange of ideas between CBC franchisees and the organization’s corporate leadership.

Each member of the Advisory Board serves as a liaison for their respective region, providing updates on the latest developments, policies and services, as well as reporting and proposing actions to resolve any issues. The board has proved to be a successful means of driving innovation and gaining critical insight into the evolving needs of overall CBC strategies.

“CBC offers an ideal climate for success—a blend of seasoned and well-connected associates complemented by newer associates building their careers under the guidance of the company’s commercial professional development programs,” said Maret. “It is a privilege to contribute to the efforts by serving on the Advisory Board.”

Maret, who affiliated with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in 2007, has represented buyers, tenants, sellers and landlords in all major commercial sectors. In his role as managing director, he oversees the operations of the company’s Florida region which boasts more than 100 commercial sales associates and commercial and association property managers in Orlando, Tampa Bay, Sarasota, Naples, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Palm Beach. In 2014, the company has generated nearly $500 million in sales volume through the end of the third quarter, ranking it among the top in Florida.

Maret earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and serves as a board member for its Florida West Coast Chapter. He is also active with the International Council of Shopping Centers. During the downturn, he was a member of CBC’s national Troubled Assets Group, closing more than 20 bank-owned properties.
