Deputies Arrest Man Who Followed, Shot At Valrico Teens
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 23-year-old man who followed two teens home from Westfield Brandon mall.

BRANDON, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 23-year-old man for following two teenagers home from Westfield Brandon mall and firing a gun at them.
On June 13, a man and woman followed two teens from the mall to 1204 Lausberg Place in Valrico.
The driver got out of a small, gray SUV and approached the teens who were seated inside their car. He then pointed a gun at them and shot the passenger side door.

The teens safely fled the scene.
The couple were caught on surveillance video following the teens through the mall. Deputies believe they intended to rob the teens.

With the help of the surveillance video, deputies were able to identify the shooter as Roger Ocasio Colon. He was arrested Wednesday, June 20 and booked into the Orient Road Jail.
He is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, shooting into an occupied vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon and driving with a suspended license.
The person with Colon remains at large. She is described as a black woman, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 to 150 pounds with short dreadlock-style braids. She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with graphics on the front.
