Deputies Looking for Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

A reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the CVS robbery.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a little help identifying a man it says may be responsible for a Sunday morning robbery in Seffner.

According to Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, a man walked into the 704 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. W. CVS store around 6:08 a.m. The man, officials say, told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money. After getting what he came for, the man fled the scene, but surveillance cameras managed to catch a good image of him.

The man is described as being about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and is white. He has a light complexion, a crooked or large nose and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark gray shorts with long black socks. He also had on tight-fitting pants, white shoes and a black bandana.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $3,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest. Anyone with information about the suspect may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips may be reported online at www.crimestopperstb.com or by texting CSTB plus the tip to 274637 (CRIMES).
