Detectives Continue To Investigate Death Of Woman In Brandon Home
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the death of a woman at a home on Clara Drive in Brandon Monday.
BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the death of a woman at a home at 513 Clara Drive in Brandon Monday.
The sheriff's office received a call about an "unresponsive woman" at 10:20 a.m. When deputies arrived, they found a woman dead inside the house. Sheriff's Capt. Preston Hollis said she died of upper body trauma but did not release the woman's name or say how she was killed.
This isn't the first time detectives have pored over the home in Brandon Hills, just west of Kingsway Road.

In 2013, the owner of the home, retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Ralph Wald, was acquitted of murder after fatally shooting a man he found having sex with his wife, Johnna Flores, in the home on Clara Drive.

Hillsborough County Property Appraiser records show that Wald and Flores still own the home.
