Developing: 1 Killed After Amtrak Train Hits Car
The accident happened Monday afternoon in Dover.
A person has died after a vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train in Dover Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. at 15237 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Jordan Road, the Florida Highway Patrol says.
The Amtrak was heading from Miami to Tampa with 147 passengers onboard, the patrol said, when it collided with a four-door Buick.
