Dover Man Accused Of Hit-And-Run That Killed Motorcyclist
A 29-year-old Tampa man has died after his motorcycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday night.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A 29-year-old Tampa man has died after his motorcycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 9:20 p.m., Roylan Perez Salas, 24, of Dover, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado east on State Road 574 approaching Tanner Road when he turned into the path of a motorcycle ridden by Derek Lee Bazo.
Bazo died at the scene.

Troopers said Salas abandoned his pickup truck and fled the scene on foot. Following a search by troopers and Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies, he was found at a nearby home and arrested. He's been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
