Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn spoke to approximately 200 guests at the Early Childhood Council (ECC) of Hillsborough County’s Spring Luncheon on April 9 at Maestro’s at The Straz Center in Tampa. Mayor Buckhorn shared his personal perspective and experiences regarding the resiliency of children and the community’s need to support its youngest citizens for a brighter future.
Net proceeds from the event benefited the nonprofit ECC, which provides developmental screening, inclusion and advocacy services to promote positive development for young children in Tampa Bay.
