BRANDON, FL -- The Annual “Empower ECHO” breakfast organized by the Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO), will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Regent (6437 Watson Rd, Riverview, 33578). As in past years, the goal of the event is to raise money to support ECHO programs focused on ending hunger in Southeastern Hillsborough County.
The event features first hand stories of those whose lives have been impacted by ECHO. While it is a large networking opportunity, with an anticipated attendance of over 150 prominent members of the community, the main purpose of the event is to raise funds to further ECHO’s mission in both its Brandon and Riverview locations.

“For over 31 years, ECHO, a grassroots organization, has worked to help the hungry and vulnerable in our neighborhoods. Empower ECHO is an event close to my heart- because it is through this event that I have witnessed the generosity of many,” said Eleanor Saunders, Executive Director of ECHO. “It is an event when the entire community comes together to directly and positively impact the lives of those suffering.”
Last year’s breakfast raised a record-breaking $84,000 through on the spot donations and multi-year pledges, which significantly helped catapult the launch of a second ECHO campus in Riverview. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information visit https://echofl.org/empower/.
