The Estates at Carpenters Presents the True Costs of Staying in Your Home

President of My LifeSite Brad Breeding provides valuable insights about lifestyle, healthcare and financial considerations for retirement

People often think that staying in their home is the best way to save during retirement. However, this is not always the case.

On July 30, 2015, The Estates at Carpenters, a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, will host Brad Breeding, president and co-founder of My LifeSite, who will educate Polk County area residents about the true costs of staying at home in their later years.

During the event, Breeding will reflect on the tangible expenses and intangible consequences of living in a home not suited for aging. He will discuss the nuances of a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) versus other retirement living choices, and explain the key aspects of the decision process. His extensive knowledge of the CCRC industry, combined with his financial planning background, allows him to provide valuable insights about lifestyle, healthcare, and financial planning considerations related to this life decision.
