Drummers can march into Music Showcase to attend a free clinic. The music retail store at 402 Oakfield Drive in Brandon is hosting a free drum clinic by Marko Djordejvic on Wednesday, April 25 at 6pm. Djordejvic is called a “world class drummer” and “a true innovator” by Modern Drummer magazine. Djordjevic has played on more than 40 albums and has thousands of live performances to his credit. Some of the artists Djordjevic has performed and recorded with include: Matt Garrison, Wayne Krantz, Jonah Smith and many more. Djordejvic is a composer for the group SVETI. He is also the author of drum technique books, which he says are useful to the beginner and seasoned pro because he explains components essential for mastering the technical side of the instrument.
