Falling Snake At Disney Prompts Lawsuit Threat
The family of a little boy allegedly attacked by a snake at Disney's Animal Kingdom has retained an attorney.

ORLANDO, FL — A family’s October 2014 trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom turned out to be anything but magical, an Orlando attorney alleges.
The boy was allegedly injured during his visit when a snake fell out of a tree at the Walt Disney World theme park and bit him. The boy’s family contends the child’s grandmother witnessed the unusual occurrence, went into cardiac arrest and died not too long after, Local 10 reported.
While the family has retained well-known attorney Matt Morgan to represent it, Disney says the facts in the case are being blown out of proportion.

“These allegations are an utter mischaracterization of the facts,” Jacquee M. Wahler, Walt Disney World spokeswoman, told Patch.
Morgan doesn’t see it that way, Local 10 reported. Disney told the station the snake was wild and not a part of its collection. Morgan and family claim the creature was a park escapee that was able to enter an area meant for the general public before falling on the boy and biting him.

The names of the family are not being released at this time. It is unclear just what kind of snake was involved in the incident.
Morgan, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Patch, told Local 10 he intends to file a lawsuit on the family’s behalf. How soon that suit will be filed, and what level of damages it might seek are unclear.
Morgan is the son of prominent attorney John Morgan, who has made headlines on his own recently for helping spearhead the effort to get Amendment 2, which would legalize medical marijuana use, on the 2016 Florida General Election ballot.
Matt Morgan has also made recent headlines for his representation of an Oviedo middle school girl who was ordered to serve one day of detention after giving a classmate a one-second hug.
