Float Focus: FishHawk Soccer Boosters
The FishHawk Soccer Booster Club participated in the 2011 Greater Brandon Fourth of July Parade. The float featured a mini- soccer field on which club members demonstrated some skills.
Marching in the 2011 Greater Brandon Fourth of July Parade, in the No. 48 spot, was the FishHawk Soccer Boosters Club.

One of the largest soccer clubs in the county, FishHawk has more than 1,000 members.

The group has travel teams for under-9 to under-15 levels as well as teams ranging from under-5 to under-16. The FishHawk under-12 girls team recently won a tournament in Miami.
3. Float Particulars
Members of the group worked for about a day putting together their float, which featured a miniature soccer field.

“Live Here, Play Here.”
5. Reason For Parade Participation
“We want to be part of the parade to be part of the community and give something back and let people out there know we are here,” said member mom Michelle Ayres.
