Florida Cops Under Investigation for Racing to Bakery
The only emergency was a breakfast gathering.

Five police officers from three separate South Florida law enforcement agencies are in a heap of trouble after a passerby recorded them racing down Interstate 95 with their emergency lights on.
The problem is there was no emergency.
The officers β from Miami-Dade, Miccosukee and Miami β were simply heading to breakfast at Karlo Bakery on Coral Way, Local 10 News reported. The incident happened last week and even involved one cop blocking oncoming traffic so the others could get by, the station reported.

An investigation into the improper use of emergency lights is under way.
