Florida LongHorn Steakhouses Serving Up ALS Fundraiser

The benefit is set for Sept. 23.

Tampa Bay residents who want to support the ALS Association’s Florida chapter without icy water involved can dine their way to a donation at LongHorn Steakhouse.

All 60 of the state’s LongHorn locations are playing host to a “Dining for Dollars” benefit Sept. 23. Set to run from 5 to 8 p.m., the fundraiser pledges 10 percent of diners’ tabs to the Florida chapter of the ALS association. In order for that 10 percent to get credited to the nonprofit association, diners must present a voucher when they pay for their meals.

Vouchers for the fundraiser can be requested through the ALS Florida chapter by visiting the agency’s website. LongHorn Steakhouse locations also have the vouchers.
