Florida State Fair 2015: What You Need to Know
The festivities run through Feb. 16.
It’s Florida State Fair time! The fun runs through Feb. 16.
Here are just a few things folks need to know about before making the trek out to the 4800 U.S. Highway 301 N. fairgrounds:
Opening Hours

The fair opens at 10 a.m. during its run on weekdays, Monday through Thursday, and at 9 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Special attractions, including the midway, may have their own hours.
Midway Hours

The anticipated hours for the midway this year are:
- Noon until closing – Feb. 5, 9, 10, 12
- 11 a.m. to closing – Feb. 11
- 10 a.m. to closing – Feb. 6,-8, 13-16
Ticket Prices
At the gate, admission prices are:
For Adults
- Monday through Friday, $11
- Saturday and Sunday, $13
For Children 6 to 11
- Monday through Friday, $6
- Saturday and Sunday, $7
Seniors Ages 55 and Up
- Tickets are $7
Armband Prices
Unlimited midway ride armbands at the gate are $35. On weekdays after 5 p.m. they drop to $25.
Parking
There is no charge to park at the fairgrounds, according to the fair’s website.
