Florida Strawberry Festival 2016 Entertainment Announced

The headlining entertainers will take the stage during the March 3-13, 2016, festival. Tickets go on sale in December.

Tampa Bay area residents eager to find out what acts the Florida Strawberry Festival will draw early next year don’t have to wait any longer.

The festival announced its headline entertainment for the Wish Farms Soundstage on Monday morning. The 2016 entertainment lineup is as follows:

Thursday, March 3

  • Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra, 10:30 a.m.
  • Charley Pride, 3:30 p.m.
  • Josh Turner, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, March 4

  • Mickey Gilley, 3:30 p.m.
  • BIG & RICH, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 5

  • Lecrae, 3:30 p.m.
  • Cheap Trick, 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, March 6

  • Shenandoah, 3:30 p.m.
  • Donny & Marie, 7:30 p.m.

Monday, March 7

  • Gene Watson, 3:30 p.m.
  • LONESTAR, 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, March 8

  • Dick Fox’s Golden Boys starring Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bobby Rydell, 3:30 p.m.
  • Trace Adkins, 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 9

Advance ticket sales for headline shows go on sale Dec. 10 at 8 a.m. They may be purchased online at www.flstrawberryfestival.com, at the Amscot Main Ticket Office, 2209 W. Oak Ave. in Plant City, and by calling 813-754-1996. Free seating for each show is also available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Morrow Steel Free Grandstand at the back of the Wish Farms Soundstage.
