'Frozen' Attraction Replacing Maelstrom at Epcot
The ride will sweep visitors away to Arendelle.

Disney fans who just can’t get enough “Frozen” may soon find Epcot on their must-visit list.
Tom Staggs, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, announced on Disney’s official blog Friday that the Maelstrom ride in the Norway Pavilion is soon to be replaced by a “Frozen” attraction.
Staggs said they’re starting construction soon, but didn’t give an estimate on when the attraction would open. The new attraction will “take our guests to Arendelle and immerse them in many of their favorite moments and music from the film,” he wrote. “The pavilion will also include a royal greeting location where Anna and Elsa can meet our guests.”

Staggs said the new attraction is a good addition to the Norway pavilion because the country inspired the film.
