GFWC Brandon Junior Woman's Club Celebrates Girls' Night Out Holiday Open House
November 14th holiday shopping event to raise funds for underprivileged children

The holidays are around the corner, and it’s time to shop! The GFWC Brandon Junior Woman’s Club will be hosting a fun Girls’ Night Out Holiday Open House event on Friday, November 14, from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Brandon Junior Woman’s Club Clubhouse, 129 N. Moon Ave., Brandon 33510. With more than 10 vendors featuring jewelry, handbags, art and more, the evening promises to be a great night of shopping and socializing.
“The Girls’ Night Out event is a new offering this year for our club,” explained organizer and BJWC member, Becky Goble. “We’ll have plenty of shopping opportunities, along with hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, raffles and prizes. It will be a fun evening for ladies to come out and see what BJWC is all about.”
The Brandon Junior Woman’s Club (BJWC) holds fundraising events to raise money for their annual Children’s Holiday Party, which benefits nearly 100 children. Guidance counselors at twenty-one Brandon area elementary schools select the children, and many would not have a holiday at all without this program. The celebration includes a luncheon with entertainment, clothing, books and gifts for each child. The annual holiday party is made possible through fundraising events, as well as donations of club members and area businesses.
