Intoxicated Brandon Man Dies After Being Struck By 2 Vehicles
A 28-year-old Brandon man is dead after being struck by two vehicles Sunday, Nov. 19 at Interstate 74 and Interstate 4.

TAMPA, FL -- A 28-year-old Brandon man is dead after being struck by two vehicles Sunday, Nov. 19 at Interstate 74 and Interstate 4.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 1:44 a.m., Uber driver Tiffany Pittman, 29, of Brooksville, was summoned to pick up an intoxicated patron at a restaurant in Brooksville. The patron, Sheng Hui Lin, was placed in the Uber vehicle by two men, and Pittman proceeded to drive him to his home in Brandon.
As Pittman was driving southbound on I-75, Lin reportedly became agitated and Pittman tried to stop on the shoulder near the exit to I-4. Before the Nissan Versa came to a complete stop on the shoulder, Lin got out, stepped into the adjacent travel lane and was struck by two vehicles.

He was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he died.
