Laughable School Workshop: Cathy Valdes now controls Focus Group Report

Cathy Valdes was previously in charge of the Facilities Division which includes the Transportation Department.

Cathy Valdes sat in front of the school board for 9 months and never said a word about the death of student Bella Herrera during campaign year 2012 when 4 incumbent school board members were seeking re-election. Her silence and lack of action over transportation arguably led to the death of 2 students.

Does it bother you that Cathy Valdes was instead promoted to Deputy Superintendent?

Does it bother you that Cathy Valdes, who probably had more to do than anyone with all the problems that now haunt the transportation department, is now in charge of the Transportation Focus Group Report concerning issues that she previously failed to disclose and manage?

Can you think of anything more backward or absurd?

How about this: Does it bother you that Cathy Valdes is also now in charge of the Superintendents evaluation which is due in less than 3 months?

Cathy Valdes Failed to take action. Superintendent Elia failed to take action. The School board failed to take action. Will you also fail to take action?

Do something/anything to stop this travesty. Right now- email your school board representative and copy your congressman. Speak at the school board meeting.

Make yourself known and demand that they stop this fraud and abuse and fire Cathy Valdes.
