Lowry Park Zoo Offers Florida Residents a Sweet Deal

Entry into the park is discounted for residents through Sept. 26.

Lowry Park Zoo is inviting Florida residents to take a walk on the wild side for less. Through Sept. 26, the zoo is offering a big discount on gate admission for Floridians.

Instead of the normal $24.94 fee for adults, $22.95 for seniors and $19.95 for kids, the cost has been dropped to $10 for regular daytime admission. Adult ticket purchasers have to show their Florida IDs when buying.

The 1101 W. Sligh Ave. park is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The park has more than 1,000 animals in its collection and covers almost 60 acres.
