Man Accused Of Pulling Gun Shot
The case remains under investigation with the man Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies say was the aggressor in the hospital.

PLANT CITY, FL — A 19-year-old Ocala man is hospitalized following a shooting at Plant City’s Twilight Zone bar late Wednesday night.
Witnesses told Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies that Tyler Howell was a passenger in a truck parked at the 4010 E. Highway 60 bar just before 11 p.m. At that time, a red truck driven by Durrell Anthony Boswell, 23, of Plant City pulled up front in the parking lot. Boswell had a female passenger with him.
“For unknown reasons, Tyler Howell exited the blue vehicle and approached the red vehicle while aiming a silver handgun at the occupants and stating, ‘what are you going to do,’” an email from the sheriff’s office said. “In an act of self-defense, Boswell pulled out his 9mm handgun and shot at Howell, striking him twice before leaving the scene.”

Howell, deputies say, also left the scene. He returned, however, a short time later and was taken to Tampa General Hospital in stable condition. Boswell and his passenger both told deputies they do not know Howell.
The case remains under investigation with charges pending for Howell, the email said.
