Man Arrested On 106 Charges
The man is accused of going on quite an extensive crime spree in Brandon and Tampa.

BRANDON, FL — A 20-year-old Tampa man has been hit with 106 criminal charges after Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies and Tampa Police officers connected him with an extensive auto burglary spree.
According to the sheriff’s office, Torries Kermet Davis of Moore Avenue East in Tampa faces three counts of grand theft, 55 counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and 48 counts of petty theft. Some of those charges stem from a Jan. 1 theft spree at Brandon’s Lake Lucerne apartment complex during which 39 vehicles were broken into.
On Jan. 5, deputies say 10 additional vehicle burglaries occurred in the College Chase subdivision in Ruskin. In some of the crimes, the vehicle doors were unlocked. In others, the windows were smashed out, the sheriff’s office noted in an email to media.
