Man Arrested After Accused Of Exposing Himself At 7-Eleven

BRANDON, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of exposing himself in Brandon. Deputies say he may also be connected to a vehicle burglary.

On Sunday, Dec. 8 just before 7 a.m., deputies said Brandon Hicks, 31, exposed himself and began masturbating in front of a man at the 7-Eleven, 1020 S. Kings Ave. in Brandon.

The man reported the incident to the sheriff's office but, before deputies arrived, Hicks fled in a gray Hyundai Accent.

While responding to the call, a deputy located the car traveling north on Kings Avenue and made a traffic stop at the intersection of Kings Avenue and Sunset Drive in Brandon.

Hicks was the only occupant of the car.

Deputies search the car and found 29 Quetiapine pills, 27 Escitaloprám pills, a knife with a 10-inch blade wrapped in a shirt and a wallet with a driver's license belonging to another man.

Deputies contacted the person whose driver’s license was inside the wallet and learned his vehicle had been burglarized and his wallet stolen.

Hicks was charged with exposure of sexual organs, burglary of a conveyance, dealing in stolen property, two counts of possession of drugs without prescription, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting an officer without violence.
