Man Busted Trying To Sell AR-15 To Deputies
Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies say the man is also a certified Sur 13 gang member.

GIBSONTON, FL — A 28-year-old man is in federal custody after Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies say he tried to sell them a Bushmaster AR-15 at a Walmart on Monday.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives conducted a “buy/bust” involving Jose Calderon Rebolla at the 9205 Gibsonton Drive Walmart on Monday around 6:45 p.m. After Calderon Rebolla tried to sell deputies the weapon, he was arrested on a single charge of alien in possession of a firearm.
“Calderon Rebolla is a certified Sur 13 gang member and not a legal citizen of the United States,” an email from the sheriff’s office said. “Detectives worked with the U.S. Border Patrol on this investigation.”

Following his arrest, Calderon Rebolla was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail without bond. He was later released into the custody of the U.S. Border Patrol, jail records indicate.
Calderon Rebolla is from Mexico, jail records state.
