Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Jaguar Into Fairfield Inn

MANGO, FL — A 40-year-old Tampa man was arrested and charged with DUI Sunday night after the Florida Highway Patrol said he lost control of his Jaguar and struck the Fairfield Inn & Suites off State Road 574 in Mango.

According to FHP, at 11:33 p.m., Kevin Alexander Green was driving a Jaguar XF east on the Interstate 4 exit ramp to S.R. 574 when he lost control, entered the outside shoulder, collided with a ditch, continued through a chain-link fence and crash into the Fairfield Inn at 6720 Lakeview Center Drive.

Troopers said Green ran from the scene but was intercepted by a Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy on S.R. 574. He was charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash. He was not injured.
