Update: Brandon Area Fugitive Located
The man was brought into custody Saturday afternoon.

Update May 2, 2015: Just 36 minutes after asking for the public’s help in finding a wanted fugitive, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced he had been brought into custody without incident.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to keep their eyes open for a man they say is wanted on outstanding felony warrants.

Ryan Wesley Reese, 39, was released Florida State Prison Friday, state records indicate. The sheriff’s office, however, says it has outstanding warrants for his arrest. Reese was sentenced to state prison in 2009 on burglary and resisting an officer with violence charges. He has a state prison record that dates back to 1996.
Reese, an email to media from the sheriff’s office stated, is “considered a violent sexual offender.”

Anyone who has information about Reese’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200 or 911.
