Massive Fulfillment Center To Help Businesses Deliver To Doors
Keating Resources has announced plans for Tampa Bay's first industrial facility designed specifically with "last-mile fulfillment needs."

TAMPA, FL -- Keating Resources has announced plans for Tampa Bayβs first industrial facility designed specifically with βlast-mile fulfillment needsβ in mind. Called Tampa Fulfillment Center, the planned 180,920-square-foot industrial facility will occupy an 18-acre site at 3301 E. Clark St., about three miles east of downtown Tampa.
The Cushman & Wakefield team of director John Jackson, director Julia Rettig, senior associate Jessica Mizrahi and vice chairman Mike Davis has been retained to market the property.
Popularized by Amazon, the βlast mileβ is a metaphor used to describe the movement of goods from a fulfillment center to their final destination. βThe last mileβ is the last leg of the productβs trip before it arrives on the customerβs doorstep.

The Tampa Fulfillment Center will be able to accommodate up to six users and will offer a flexible design to meet the needs of a variety of industrial operators, including last-mile fulfillment users which typically deliver within a 45-minute range.
The building will include flexible features that are fit for last-mile users such as flow-through design with aligned site entrances, drive-in / drive-out ramp options and traffic flow that is segregated from parking and trailer storage areas.

The propertyβs large truck court design and parking ratio of two spaces per 1,000 square feet accommodate both traditional distribution and warehouse users, as well as last-mile operators.
The site provides direct access to the Selmon Expressway, and is within minutes of Interstates 275, 4 and 75.
The Cushman & Wakefield team is marketing the property for sale to both institutional and owner-user buyers, as well as for lease to industrial users interested in the facility.
βFlexibility and location are the key selling points for this property,β said Jackson. βFrom this site, users will have access to over a million Hillsborough County residents within 30 minutes.β

The developer plans to break ground on Tampa Fulfillment Center May of 2018 with delivery planned for early 2019.
