Michael Kors, Other Stores Coming to Westfield Brandon

Tampa Bay area residents who frequent Westfield Brandon are likely to notice some changes on the horizon. The mall has announced the impending arrival of several new additions.

A brand new Michael Kors store is set to open sometime this summer, the mall announced in an email to media. “Michael Kors is a world-renowned, award-winning designer of luxury accessories and ready-to-wear fashions,” the email stated.

The new Michael Kors location will be right across from the Apple Store, adjacent to Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Other new additions include Monsoon, a children’s and women’s apparel shop; Shu Shop, a women’s fashion store; Blu Spuro, a fashion apparel store; and Adidas.

Official opening dates for the new stores haven’t been released, but mall officials say sometime this summer.

“Michael Kors is a welcomed addition to Westfield Brandon. It’s a very popular brand with our shoppers,” Dawn Arvidson, marketing director for Westfield Brandon, was quoted in the email as saying. “This group of new retailers and the expansion of existing ones is a result of the ever-growing Brandon community and Westfield Brandon’s role as its community center.”

The mall also announced that Starbucks has added a standalone hybrid coffee bar to the center court while Champs intends to remodel and expand its location. Motherhood Maternity is also relocating near the food court while T-Mobile has plans to open near JCPenney.
