Michael Kors Purses Popular With These 2 Thieves, Cops Say

The pair is accused of swiping more than 18 of the designer bags.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for two thieves it says have a passion for Michael Kors handbags.

The two women are accused of walking into Dillard’s at 303 Brandon Town Center Drive, picking out 18 bags and then fleeing the store without paying. The bags are worth more than $4,500 combined.

The crime happened Oct. 20 around 7:30 p.m.

Both women were caught on the store’s surveillance video. The suspects are described as both being black females. One is estimated to stand about 5 feet, 9 inches in height and has long black hair, a dark complexion and may be pregnant. The second woman is about 5-foot-8. She has dark shoulder-length hair and a dark complexion.

Michael Kors purses retail for as much as $598 each, according to the designer’s website.
