Pedestrian Accident Closes Roads in Lithia Area

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area of Keysville Road and State Road 39 Monday morning following a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian is an adult male, sheriff’s office spokesman Larry McKinnon wrote in an email to media.

“Traffic in the area is advised to use an alternate route due to road closures during the next 2-3 hours,” he wrote just before 7:30 a.m.

Further details about the crash are not yet available.
