Pedestrian Killed On SR 574 Near Sabal Park

MANGO, FL — A 58-year-old pedestrian has died after being struck by a car on State Road 574 and west of Clewis Avenue near Sabal Park.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:30 a.m. Friday, a Hyundai Sonata driven by Quincy J. Robinson, 38, of Tampa, was traveling west on SR 574 near Clewis Avenue when Olga Reyes-Villeda of Tampa walked in front of the car.

Reyes-Villeda was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries. She was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
