Pedestrian Killed On U.S. 92 In Seffner

SEFFNER, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian that occurred Thursday, Oct. 4 at 7 a.m. at U.S. 92 and Parsons Avenue.

According to troopers, a 68-year-old man from Tampa was walking north across U.S. 92 in an unlighted portion of the road and stepped into the path of a Honda Civic driven by Rebecca L. Welsh-Jaques, 42, of Seffner.

The pedestrian died at the scene. His name is not being released until next of kin has been notified.
