Pedestrian Killed When Struck By Pickup On Hillsborough Ave.
A 31-year-old Jacksonville man died Tuesday when he walked into the path of a pickup truck on Hillsborough Avenue at Orient Road.
TAMPA, FL -- A 31-year-old Jacksonville man died Tuesday when he walked into the path of a pickup truck on Hillsborough Avenue at Orient Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Ryan Allen Kaytor, 31, was attempting to cross Hillsborough Avenue at about 7 p.m. when he was struck by a pickup truck driven by Bruce C. Kane Jr., 51, of Valrico.
Kaytor died at the crash scene.

While troopers were conducting the crash investigation, they say Anthony Wayne Darden, 37, of Huntington Beach, California, drove his car through the crash scene. Troopers pulled him over and arrested him for driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
