Deputies say he robbed the Bank of America on U.S. 301 Aug. 9.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a little help to identify and find a man they say robbed the Bank of America at 9810 U.S. Highway 301 S. on Aug. 9.
The man walked into the bank around 12:54 p.m., handed a note to the teller, before taking the note back and putting it in his pocket.
“The teller was not able to get the attention of any other bank employees and slowly walked away and locked herself in the vault area,” wrote sheriff’s office spokeswoman Debbie Carter in an email. “The suspect stayed at the teller counter for a brief moment until he fled the bank and ran in a southeast direction through the parking lot.”
