Photos: Thief Swipes 10-Year-Old's Bike
Deputies are looking for help identifying the man responsible.
A 10-year-old Brandon boy is without his bicycle courtesy of the thief who decided to help himself to the ride on Friday.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, a male between the age of 16 and 20 walked into a Bayou View Drive home’s garage on Friday around 5:35 p.m. and took off with a 20-inch black and red Hyper Boys BMX bike valued at $100.

While the thief got away with the bike, surveillance video caught him in the act. Sheriff’s deputies are now hoping someone recognizes the person caught on film. He’s described as a Hispanic male who stands about 5 feet, 10 inches in height. The person weighs about 175 pounds and has short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve red shirt with the word “Nike” written in white on the front, gray sweat pants and black Adidas-style flip flops with white socks.
