Pickup Truck Containing Urn With Daughter's Ashes Stolen

It wasn't the theft of the pickup truck that ​concerned the owner who reported the truck stolen. It was the item inside the truck.

BRANDON, FL — It wasn't the theft of the pickup truck that concerned the owner who reported the truck stolen. It was the item inside the truck. Stashed in the truck was an urn containing the ashes of the victim's daughter.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a gray 2014 Ford F150 crew cab pickup truck stolen between 11 p.m. Sept. 7 and 8 a.m. Sept. 8 from the parking lot of the Staybridge Suites, 3624 Falkenburg Road N.

The license plate number is Z523AD. The side rear window of the truck was broken and taped up with blue painter's tape.
