Pink Heels the Soul

Put on your fabulous PINK heels and come out to support “Pink Heels the
Soul” walk.  This event will take place on April 5th at A New You, Pink
Boutique: located on the corner of
Parsons Ave and Robertson St. South, of Hwy 60. 

There will be two distances for the walk: The TaTa Strut begins at A New You, Pink Boutique and participants will
walk to Moon Avenue and back. The 5K Bravo
Challenge begins at A New You, Pink Boutique and walkers will proceed down to
Kings Ave. and around to Hwy 60, and then back to Parson Ave ending at
Robertson St.

Registration fee is $35 and the funds will be donated to

Lisa’s Pink Petals of Hope Inc., which provides pre/post-surgical garments,

breast prosthesis and mastectomy bras to breast cancer patients impacted by

financial hardship.  We are hoping to
exceed $5,000, all of which will go to meet the needs of a BRAVE mother,
daughter, sister or friend to make their journey a little easier as most
individuals even with insurance cannot afford the essential items as co-pay and
high deductibles are a struggle.

Pre-registration for the walk is highly suggested, to
ensure that every participant receives breakfast and freebies donated from
local vendors. There will be entertainment, refreshments and raffles. 

Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9
a.m. Participants can register at A New You, Pink Boutique in
advance and also donate $5 for a pink ribbon in honor of a loved one. The Pink
ribbons will be displayed along the path during the day of the event.
