Pulse- Parents will sue FBI and OPD
Much like Charleston Church shooting victims, the families of the Pulse nightclub victims will be suing the FBI and OPD for their failures.
We previously broke the news that Parents of Pulse victims – some armed- showed up at Pulse during the June 12 standoff and began demanding to go inside to save their child because the Police weren’t doing anything, but the Police told them to stay back behind the line or be arrested. Now these same parents are planning to sue the FBI and Police department; the FBI for their failure to prevent the attack in the first place and the police department for their failure to take action necessary to save the lives of their children.
With a standoff of more than 3 hours many parents, who received calls & text from their dying children, had plenty of time to drive down there to try to do something to save their child. In fact the main reason the police finally decided to act after 3 hours of standing down had little to do with saving lives at that point, but was because of the growing mass of angry family and friends demanding to save their loved ones. No doubt the Police Department was also keenly aware of the world waking up the 6 o’clock news Sunday morning and seeing this absurd standoff still dragging on and then cascading across the US to each successive time zone with the rising sun.
Very much like the families of the Charleston Church shooting victims are suing the FBI for their failure to prevent the gun sale to the shooter, the families of the Pulse nightclub will be suing the FBI and Orlando Police Department. This is why the FBI and Orlando Police Department are not releasing information about the attack, in order to thwart these lawsuits.

The Tampa Bay Times’ latest article describes how confused the police were by the misinformation in the Pulse 911 calls. The Times article never considers that misinformation is always part of any crisis and the police are supposed to be trained to deal with it decisively. It would be fair to say that an attacker is always going to use misdirection, false claims, etc. to their advantage but the Times publishes this to prepare us to excuse their lack of action.
At this point- 3 weeks later- there still is not even a coherent actionable timeline from the Orlando Police Department. We are supposed to believe that after 3 weeks they still haven’t figured out what happened, but the reality is they are still working with the Times and other lame stream media on the spin, pre-programming the public, figuring out their excuses, fabricating a timeline and putting as much time between the event and the inevitable shocking realization of what actually happened.

Numerous people have written asking what exactly happened at the Pulse nightclub? They are wondering why there is still no coherent timeline and why the media is not asking for the details. Try as you might there is no detailed account from the Orlando Police Department, in fact they have not even provided a updated news release on this tragedy at their website for more than 2 weeks. The only thing they have posted is the repost of the FBI’s heavily excerpted timeline that gives little detail about what happened in the initial moments of the tragedy. For all intents and purposes the Orlando Police Department is effectively ‘taking the fifth’ and letting the FBI do cover for it.
The first line of the FBI timeline is: 2:02 a.m.: OPD call transmitted multiple shots fired at Pulse nightclub.
This does not even differentiate whether the shots were fired outside or inside the club. There is little doubt that after a week the Orlando Police Department and the FBI know this information, but they don’t want to report it.
However there is a direct quote from the Orlando Chief of Police himself, Police Chief John Mina who said: "The officer engaged in a gun battle with that suspect. The suspect at some point went back inside the club, and more shots were fired. This did turn into a hostage situation." Keep in mind that this was a fully uniformed Orlando Police Officer.
“The suspect at some point went back inside the club” deserves serious investigation but the media is ignoring it. What exactly happened? Was the suspect leaving when the officer engaged him in a gun battle outside the club, and did that cause him to retreat inside the club? If so, how did he get past the officer in the first place? Why one week later are there still no details about what exactly happened and why is the media not asking these questions so that we can protect people and keep this from happening again?
We know that fully uniformed “extra duty” police officer Adam Gruler was working at the Pulse and we found many accounts stating that the shooting began outside the club including this one: The terrorist began shooting outside Pulse at approximately 2:02 AM. Officer Adam Gruler was working security and engaged the terrorist with his handgun, but failed to make any effective hits. Lt. Scott Smith and Sgt. Jeffrey Backhaus, both also SWAT officers, were in the first patrol unit to arrive on-scene. They also failed to make effective hits. The terrorist was then able to enter the club.
What exactly happened and why is the media not asking? Were 3 Orlando Police officers unable to stop a shooter from entering the Pulse nightclub and/or did they cause the shooter to go back inside the club resulting in a hostage situation?
Part 2: The Law of unintended consequences
We are surrounded by examples of police officers being all to eager to use excessive deadly force. Usually this only results in the killing of a single person in a blaze of gunfire and each time we can rationalize that- thankfully- it was only one person who died because of the overreaction.
But what about situations where that police trigger-happy mentality causes a real shooter to retreat back in to a crowded nightclub rather than in to the street, shooting patrons and then taking hostages that he may never have wanted, geometrically increasing the carnage.
What actually happed at the Pulse nightclub? Is it possible that the usual gunslinger mentality of the police is what drove the shooter in to the nightclub and contributed to the high fatalities?
America acts like the global police; policing the world and enforcing our demands throughout the world at gun point or bomb point, and even fabricating justifications (WMD in Iraq). Consequently many countries consider us to be the terrorist. This is why the US has the highest kill bill in the world. And there is little difference between our foreign policy and domestic policy when it comes to excessive use of deadly police force. This is why the US has the highest incarceration rate in the world, and the highest domestic police killing rate. Additionally we export billions of dollars in guns and bombs throughout the world annually; $36.2 billion just in conventional arms in 2014 (link). The United States is the single largest provider of arms around the world controlling more than 50 percent of the market; arms that are used to terrorize people. Would that also make us the single largest provider of terrorism in the world?
By the way the report linked above was written for congress by their own Congressional Research Service in 2015; so when congress is doing a sit-in protesting action on domestic gun control, they are well aware of their whole hearted support of exporting guns, bombs and terrorism to the rest of the world.
Domestic police often act locally like our military acts internationally including heavy militarization. They often terrorize some- like young black men- more than others. Sometimes this has disastrous consequences, not unlike the loss of innocent life overseas when an unmanned drone bombs a building and kills entire families of innocent children and civilians.
This excessive deadly force is so pervasive to the police mentality that it even results when there is no actual danger, resulting in innocent people (most often young black men) being gunned down, even when surrendering.
This excessive use of deadly police force is nothing new. It has been going on forever, usually against oppressed people. In the past it was just covered up. What is different now is - thanks to technology (phones with cameras and the internet) - we now have a greater awareness of these abuses than ever before and can watch them first hand over and over like Ferguson.
And because of this awareness of our police using excessive deadly force, both home and abroad, it is coming home to roost. Typically the public is only aware of the domestic half of this but, unfortunately, occasionally there are going to be those who are both American and another nationality and are aware of both sides of this.
Part 3: So why does this keep happening?
So bringing this full circle, it is important to note that the Orlando Police Department, FBI & Justice Department also did not originally release any of the transcript of the Pulse 911 call. Like the timeline they do not want Americans to know the details. But they were more than eager to leak one tiny part of the transcript- that the shooter pledged allegiance to the Islamic State. This allowed the media to control the narrative of what the motivations were and this then gave President Obama enough time to come down to Orlando and give his “Why does this keep happening?” speech where he blames congress’ failure to pass gun control for the tragedy.
This in turn was followed by the democrats doing a sit-in for domestic gun control legislation last week all the while ignoring their hypocritical billion dollar guns & bombs export business and their excessive use of deadly police force all over the world. After they had misdirected us all, they still have only released select pieces of the 911 transcript to control their narrative. It is only then we learn that the shooter answers the very question of “why does this keep happening?” and the answer is: stop bombing my country. This also happens to be the same reason that the Boston bomber gave for his actions.
It makes you wonder how congress can participate in this charade and sit on the floor and cover-up the reality of their own terrorism in supporting shooting and bombing throughout the world. Congress clearly does not want gun and bomb control for the rest of the world; they only want gun control for Americans and soon they will have surveillance on us all and they will be treating us all like potential terrorist and terrorizing us just like they now terrorize the rest of the world. And that is why this keeps happening.
