Riverview Man Injured in Lee Roy Selmon Expressway Hit-and-Run

A 27-year-old Riverview man is in serious, but stable condition at Tampa General Hospital following a hit-and-run crash on the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway early Friday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 2:43 a.m. as Rick Anthony Burgos entered the eastbound lanes near 50th Street and was hit by an unknown vehicle that was heading eastbound.
