Ruskin Bicyclist Critically Injured in Crash
The accident happened along State Road 674 Wednesday night.

A 28-year-old Ruskin man was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital Wednesday night after a truck collided with the bicycle he was riding.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man, who has not been identified, was heading west in the outside on State Road 674 near Augusta Drive around 9 p.m. At that time, Ramiro Pesina, 38, was also heading west in the outside lane. Pesina’s Chevrolet C1500’s front right struck the rear of the bicycle, a highway patrol report stated.
The cyclist was last listed in critical condition. His identity is being held pending next of kin notification.
