Sally Harris Reads Patch, Fires Elia

During her campaign Sally Harris read numerous Scott Adams' articles documenting Hillsborough Superintendent Elia's numerous transgressions.

Last Tuesday new school board member Sally Harris was the pivotal vote in the long overdue firing of Hillsborough School’s Superintendent Mary Ellen Elia. During her campaign Sally Harris read numerous Scott Adams’ articles documenting Elia’s numerous transgressions. The photo above is one of the responses received from Sally showing her amazement at the state of the school district with a resounding “WOWOOWOWO, Thanks for the info!”

Throughout the campaign we copied Sally Harris with our articles to make sure that she knew all the problems with Elia. We also ran an endorsement article noting the vast differences between Sally Harris and her opponent and Elia crony ‘Moneybags’ Michelle Shimberg. Sally Harris was clearly impressed with our research and apparently planned to finally fix the Elia problem for good when she got elected.

This is proof that your local Patch is a real player in the community. Where the other local lame stream media cowered to Elia, your Patch was a true source of independent grassroots voice of reason that made a real difference and helped Hillsborough’s revolution to take back our schools.

You need look no further than your local Patch to discover why Marlene Slokol with the Tampa Bay Times bends the truth (at this link) and check here to read how Joe Henderson at the Tampa Tribune failed to ask those “tough questions” arguably allowing Elia’s broken administration to allow a 3rd student death. With few exceptions the Media failed Hillsborough County as much as Elia by propping her up for as long as they did. Each bowing to the establishment and keeping you in the dark (link) rather than reporting the truth. If it weren’t for Patch you would have never heard about Elia’s cozy relationship with the local news media, the sheriff, the police department, etc.

The legendary cruelty of Elia (link) and her duplicitous Attorney Tom Gonzales (link) with Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing, P.A. spawned an entire organization devoted to ousting them. The day after her firing Elia wrote Hillsborough School Employees and said that she is not ready to retire and apparently plans to continue working with the Good ol’ boy network in Tallahassee. Well we aren’t ready to retire either; rest assured that not only will we follow Elia for you but we will continue our efforts with her conniving deputies like Deputy Superintendent Cathy Valdes (link) and we can’t wait to see the other heads that are going to roll, that she will no longer be there to protect. Those that can will suddenly be retiring and revealing their true colors. It should be a great show.

Thanks Patch for being the truly independent and informed source of reporting in Hillsborough County.
