Seafood Restaurant Signs for Old Chicago Space at Brandon Crossroads
The manger of the Brandon Crossroads shopping center said a restaurant, the first of a possible chain, has signed to fill the space vacated by Old Chicago Pasta & Pizza in December.

A seafood restaurant has plans to move into the Brandon Crossroads plaza, according to the center’s manager.
The restaurant would take over the building vacated by Old Chicago Pasta & Pizza, which .
“We have accepted an offer from a tenant and they will be in there shortly,” said Paula Wormuth, manager of the Brandon Crossroads Association.

The news of the new restaurant comes on the heels of the opening of a that opened in the former Borders building earlier this month.
For location alone, Brandon Crossroads would seem to be a retailer's and restaurateur's dream, standing minutes from several major highways and close to several large housing and apartment complexes. It's nestled just east of Brandon's shopping mecca, the Westfield Brandon shopping mall.

After Old Chicago closed, "I didn’t even have a chance to put a sign in my window and my phone was ringing off the hook with people wanting to know about moving in,” she said.
“We’ve also ways known it was a prime location. I believe it will bring a lot of foot traffic which will be good for all the tenants in the development.”
