Search Continues for Missing Brandon Woman

The Tampa Police Department is looking for help locating a missing Brandon woman who hasn’t been seen or heard from since early Thursday morning.

Police say Apryl Foster, 33, was last seen around 2:30 a.m. in Ybor City.

While police have found no evidence of foul play, Foster’s disappearance is out of character, making detectives concerned about her safety, an email to media from the department stated.

Foster, the department stated, typically texts or calls her mother at least once daily, but hasn’t had contact with her since Wednesday and friends haven’t heard from her either.

“She also wouldn’t leave her cats this long without care,” police wrote in the email. “She is a trainer at Ulele and is known for her work ethic and has never missed work without calling.”

Foster met friends at the Bad Monkey bar in Ybor following work on Wednesday. She left the bar around 12:06 a.m. Thursday with a man she met there, police stated. She and the man went to the Double Decker to sing karaoke. They left the bar for a time, but returned. When they left the second time, the man was seen walking west down 7th Avenue while Apryl headed east.

Police say they’ve interviewed Apryl’s friends, family, her estranged husband, boyfriend and the man she left the bar with Thursday morning. All, they noted, have been cooperative with the investigation.

Foster may be driving a 2009 red Chevy Aveo hatchback with Florida tag number K125YC. The car has a Huskers front plate.
