Missing Lakeland Child Found

Update: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has canceled the missing child alert. The child has been found safe.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is asking Tampa Bay area residents to keep their eyes open for a 1-year-old boy reported missing in the Lakeland area on Friday.

Javier Cruz is 2 feet tall, weighs about 38 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the 1300 block of West 14th Street in Lakeland. Officials say he might be with Tyneshia Durr, 24.

Anyone with information about Cruz or Durr’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lakeland Police Department at 863-843-6900 or 911.
