Seffner Man Killed Trying To Cross State Road 574
A 44-year-old Seffner pedestrian died at Tampa General Hospital after being struck by three vehicles Friday on State Road 574.

SEFFNER, FL -- A 44-year-old Seffner pedestrian died at Tampa General Hospital after being struck by three vehicles Friday on State Road 574 at Taylor Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:38 p.m. a Volkswagen driven by Winter Haven resident David Wayne Kinard, 35, was traveling west on SR 574 in the inside lane approaching Taylor Road.
A Ford F150 driven by Carlos Cortes, 43, of Plant City, and a Kia Sedona driven by Wilfredo Acosta, 54, of Brandon were traveling west on SR 574 in the outside lane.

For unknown reasons, pedestrian Manuel Raposo darted into the path of the Volkswagen. The passenger side mirror struck him and he fell to the ground where he was subsequently hit by Cortes and Acosta.
