Seffner Man Killed in Williams Road Crash
The crash happened early Thursday morning, also causing damage to a mobile home park's wall and a power pole.

Seffner, FL – A 25-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Williams Road early Thursday morning.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Philip D. Chronis of Seffner was heading southbound on Williams Road around 1:18 a.m. Deputies say Chronis was driving a Ford F350 “at a high rate of speed, unrestrained” when he lost control on a curve.
Chronis’ truck went off the road’s west shoulder, rotated and hit a tree, the agency wrote in an email to media. The truck then overturned, hit a brick wall at the WigWam Mobile Home Park and then struck a TECO power pole.

Chronis died at the scene, the email said.
TECO responded to make repairs, the sheriff’s office noted.
