Seffner Woman Rescued From Car Overturned In Water-Filled Ditch
New Year's luck was on the side of a 20-year-old Seffner woman who escaped serious injury after her car overturned in a deep-water ditch.
MANGO, FL -- New Year's luck was on the side of a 20-year-old Seffner woman who escaped serious injury after her car overturned in a deep-water ditch on Interstate 4 Jan. 1.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Amanda Nicole Antonio was headed east on I-4 approaching the U.S. 301 exit ramp at 3:52 a.m. when she lost control after being cut off by another vehicle.
Her Toyota Scion swerved onto the shoulder of the highway and then overturned in a ditch filled with water. She was pulled to safety by a Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy and taken to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries.
